Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Seneca

Seneca won the last time they faced Greer, and Miyana Chamberlain did her part to make sure it happened again. The Seneca Bobcats walked away with a 57-48 victory over the Greer Yellow Jackets on Wednesday thanks in part to Chamberlain, who went 7 of 12 on her way to 19 points and five steals. She has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 11 times she's played.

The win (which was Seneca's third in a row) raised their record to 7-8. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.7 points per game. As for Greer, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Seneca won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Blue Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Blue Ridge is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.7 points per game this season. As for Greer, they and Travelers Rest will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday without much rest having both just played. Travelers Rest will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Greer surely won't give up without a fight.
