Volleyball Recap: Brookstone's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Brookstone had won three straight games and Anne Sluder did her part to make it four on Saturday. The Cougars came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Lanier Longhorns with plenty of help from Sluder, who had eight digs and two aces. Sluder is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Brookstone's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Lanier, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Brookstone has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against St. Anne-Pacelli on the 9th. As for Lanier, they will face off against Dunwoody at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
