Fort Defiance put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Staunton Storm 3-0. The Indians have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Storm, too.

Fort Defiance not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Staunton between 17 and 20 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-20, 25-18.

Maecy Ann Frizzelle paced Fort Defiance's offense, picking up 13 kills. Frizzelle got some help from Alexis Miller and her 27 assists. Norah Anderson controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Fort Defiance's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Staunton, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fort Defiance will host Turner Ashby at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Staunton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Harrisonburg at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
