Recap: Pomona Red Devils vs. El Dorado Golden Hawks
The Pomona Red Devils lost against the El Dorado Golden Hawks back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Pomona was beaten by El Dorado 61-27. Pomona was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-6.
It was another big night for Andrew Salvador, who scored 13 points along with 3 steals for El Dorado. The matchup was Salvador's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathan Meek, who scored 7 points along with 3 steals.
Pomona's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for El Dorado, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.
Pomona will square off against Troy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Troy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 389 points over their last six matches. El Dorado won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Los Altos at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th.
