Baseball Recap: Orion Comes Up Short

Orion couldn't beat Riverdale on Thursday even though they stacked four runs on them in the seventh inning. The Chargers fell just short of the Rams by a score of 7-6. The defeat continues a trend for the Chargers in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost five in a row.

Orion's record is now 11-8. As for Riverdale, their victory bumped their record up to 7-9.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Orion will face off against rival Mendota at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Riverdale is set to challenge their familiar foe Princeton at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
