It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Schuyler ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They walked away with a 4-2 win over the Crete Cardinals. This was payback for Schuyler, who suffered a 3-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

They hit Crete with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kevyn Martinez, Omar Genchi, Gaspar Juarez, and David Arciga.

The victory made it two in a row for Schuyler and bumps their season record up to 5-2. As for Crete, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Schuyler will face off against rival Seward at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Crete is set to square off against their familiar foe Aurora at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
