They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Alleghany Cougars, sneaking past 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Cavaliers sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Carroll County pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Alleghany, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.
