Recap: Calhoun County Saints vs. Williston-Elko Blue Devils
The Calhoun County Saints were the 46-45 winner over the Williston-Elko Blue Devils when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Calhoun County took a 44-27 bruising from Williston-Elko on Thursday. Calhoun County has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Calhoun County still got an impressive performance from Takara Brown, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. Brown hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Cassidy Pough, who scored seven points along with six rebounds.
Calhoun County has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season. As for Williston-Elko, their win bumped their record up to 14-7.
Calhoun County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Williston-Elko also has no future games currently scheduled.
