Basketball Recap: Saint Andrew's Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Gabby Fulton and Delaney Beighley

After flying high against West Boca Raton last Tuesday, Saint Andrew came back down to earth. The Saint Andrew's Scots fell 43-36 to the Coral Springs Charter Panthers on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Scots of the 40-25 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Saint Andrew's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Delaney Beighley, who went 6 of 12 en route to 15 points, and Gabby Fulton, who posted eight points.

Saint Andrew's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-4. As for Coral Springs Charter, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Saint Andrew's wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 73-28 defeat against Grandview Prep on the 25th. As for Coral Springs Charter, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Coral Springs Charter Panthers duke it out with the Coconut Creek Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Coral Springs Charter is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.
