Volleyball Recap: Overton Comes Up Short

Overton lost against Hillsboro on September 6th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bobcats lost 3-0 to the Burros. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Overton was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-23, 25-11.

Overton's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Hillsboro, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season.

Overton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Whites Creek on the 1st. As for Hillsboro, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Christ Presbyterian Academy on the 1st.
