Football Recap: St. Paul Piles Up the Points Against St. John XXIII

While St. Paul put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for St. John XXIII. The Cardinals breezed past the Lions to the tune of 44-0. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Cardinals just coasted through the last quarter.

The win made it two in a row for St. Paul and bumps their season record up to 3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 points in those games. As for St. John XXIII, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coming up, St. Paul will look to defend their home field on Friday against Fort Bend Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. As for St. John XXIII, they will head out to square off against San Antonio Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. San Antonio Christian will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.
