It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Westlake had no problem doing just that on Friday. They claimed a resounding 55-0 victory over the Crowley Gent. Considering the Rams have won five games by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Ryan Allen and Braylon Garrick. Allen gained 175 total yards and four touchdowns while Garrick rushed for 124 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. What's more, Allen also racked up 65 rushing yards, the most he's had since back in September.

Westlake was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 391 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Westlake wouldn't let Crowley keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force three fumbles. Westlake can thank Brady Duplechin and Brayden Ellzey for forcing all of them.

Westlake's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-4. As for Crowley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6.

Westlake will take on Kinder on Friday. Westlake is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 35.2 points per game this season. Crowley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
