Volleyball Recap: West Michigan Academy of Environmental Science Takes a Loss

West Michigan Academy of Environmental Science was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Fellowship Baptist Academy Falcons, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-11, 25-15.

Fellowship Baptist Academy was led to victory by Olivia Lake and Addi McAlvey. Lake had eight digs and two aces, while McAlvey had 11 aces and seven assists. That's the most aces McAlvey has posted over her last six matches.

West Michigan Academy of Environmental Science's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Fellowship Baptist Academy, their record is now 7-10-1.

West Michigan Academy of Environmental Science does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fellowship Baptist Academy, they will take on Immanuel Baptist at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Fire will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight.
