Baseball Recap: Toledo Christian Comes Up Short

Toledo Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 14-4 to the Pettisville Blackbirds.

Toledo Christian saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Grace, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Grace also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

Toledo Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Pettisville, their win ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-2.

Looking ahead, Toledo Christian is taking a road trip to take on Northwood at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pettisville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North Central at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Blackbirds are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
