Softball Recap: Westlake Comes Up Short

Westlake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Thomas Stone Cougars, falling 20-1. That's two games in a row now that the Wolverines have lost by exactly 19 runs.

Westlake's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Thomas Stone, their victory bumped their record up to 3-9.

Looking ahead, Westlake will square off against St. Charles on Monday. Westlake is facing St. Charles at the right time seeing as St. Charles is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Thomas Stone, they will face off against Patuxent at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
