Basketball Recap: Hope Blue Wave vs. Moses Brown Quakers
Hope unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 66-52 bruising from the Moses Brown Quakers on Thursday. If the Blue Wave were looking for revenge after losing 54-46 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Donovan Clement had an outrageously good game for Moses Brown as he shot 5-for-8 from downtown and almost dropped a double-double on 32 points and nine rebounds. Otis Crosby was another key player, going 7 for 17 on his way to 19 points in addition to six boards and three steals.
Hope wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 72-50 win against Mount St. Charles Academy on the 14th. As for Moses Brown, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 55-40 victory against Rogers on the 19th.
