Basketball Recap: West Holmes Takes a Loss

West Holmes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Lexington Minutemen, falling 71-32. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 72-44 back in December of 2024.

West Holmes' defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Lexington, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season.

West Holmes has already played their next contest (against Ashland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lexington will challenge New Philadelphia at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Lexington's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine games.
