North Kingstown extended their winning streak to seven games thanks to a huge performance from Nickolas Stafford. The Skippers put the hurt on the Cumberland Clippers with a sharp 21-0 victory on Thursday for which the team can thank Stafford, who rushed for 194 yards and three TDs while picking up 8.4 yards per carry. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 65 yards.

North Kingstown's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Cumberland, they dropped their record down to 2-6 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, North Kingstown and South Kingstown will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 6:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Cumberland, they will take on Burrillville at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th. The Clippers will be up against the Broncos' rather soft defense (which has allowed 27.57 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
