It was a good run, but Eagle's Landing unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-match winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Union Grove Wolverines. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-1 defeat back in September.

Jaeda Ridley paced Eagle's Landing's offense, picking up six kills. Ridley got some help from Antonella Rodriguez and her seven assists. Camille McCoy controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Eagle's Landing's defeat dropped their record down to 29-11. As for Union Grove, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That somehow still isn't as good as their 31-7-1 record this season.

Eagle's Landing wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Locust Grove on the 11th. As for Union Grove, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Eagle's Landing Christian Academy on the 11th.
