Softball Recap: Post Falls Comes Up Short

Post Falls came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Coeur d'Alene Vikings, falling 10-3. The defeat continues a trend for the Trojans in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost nine in a row.

Sienna Williams made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

Post Falls now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Coeur d'Alene, they pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Vikings beat Post Falls by a score of 10-8 later that day.
