It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Unity ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They walked away with a 57-46 victory over the Glenwood City Hilltoppers. The win was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won eight contests in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Glenwood City lost, don't look at Brody Olson. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 20 points and ten rebounds. The match was Olson's third in a row with at least 15 points. Caleb Klinger was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Unity pushed their record up to 13-7 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.2 points over those games. As for Glenwood City, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-11.

Looking ahead, Unity will take on Cumberland on Friday. Cumberland knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine games -- so hopefully Unity likes a good challenge. Glenwood City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
