Stanton won the last time they faced Parker and things went their way on Tuesday too. Everything went the Stanton Blue Devils' way against the Parker Braves as the Stanton Blue Devils made off with a 17-1 victory. Considering the Blue Devils have won four matches by more than eight runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Leah Joseph made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Emmalyn Gensch, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-3. Maddie Hicks was another key player, going 2-for-3 with four RBI and one run.
