Soccer Game Preview: Heavener vs. Regent Prep

The Heavener Wolves are taking a road trip to square off against Regent Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Heavener is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Heavener didn't have quite enough to beat Fort Gibson and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Regent Prep). They never let KIPP Tulsa University Prep get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Regent Prep.

Heavener's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Regent Prep, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Heavener was able to grind out a solid victory over Regent Prep when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Heavener since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
