Softball Recap: Episcopal Comes Up Short

After flying high against St. Martin's Episcopal last Friday, Episcopal came back down to earth. Episcopal fell 16-11 to Slaughter Community Charter on Tuesday. Episcopal hasn't had much luck with Slaughter Community Charter recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Episcopal's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Slaughter Community Charter, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.

Looking ahead, Episcopal will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Dunham at 5:00 p.m. As for Slaughter Community Charter, they will head out to take on Catholic of Pointe Coupee at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Slaughter Community Charter is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.
