Basketball Recap: Manassas Park Comes Up Short

Manassas Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 73-15 loss at the hands of the Skyline Hawks. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 371st, while the Hawks are ranked 85th).

Manassas Park's loss dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Skyline, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

Manassas Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Skyline, they will face off against Meridian at 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
