Softball Recap: East Rochester Bombers vs. Lyons Lions

East Rochester had lost five straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Wednesday they dropped their record down to 1-10 to make it six. They came up short against the Lyons Lions, falling 16-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Bombers were not able to get on the board.

As for Lyons, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-1. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won 14 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

For Lyons' part, Keira Weber made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 12 over five innings pitched.
