Volleyball Recap: Fresno Christian Eagles vs. Bullard Knights
Fresno Christian unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Bullard Knights on Tuesday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Eagles have suffered since August 29, 2024.
Fresno Christian was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Bullard work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 28-26, 25-16.
Sarah Guglielmana paced Fresno Christian's offense, picking up seven kills. Guglielmana got some help from Tatum Mcquown and her 15 assists. Finally, Jordyn Degroot kept Fresno Christian's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.
The win was the third in a row for Bullard, bringing their record up to 3-0.
Coming up, Fresno Christian will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Segerstrom at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bullard, they will take on Pacheco in a tournament on Friday.
