Westfall is a perfect 10-0 against Paint Valley since September of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Mustangs will challenge the Bearcats at 6:30 p.m. Westfall will be strutting in after a win while Paint Valley will be coming in after a defeat.

Westfall can't be too worried about heading out to take on Paint Valley: they just beat Fisher Catholic at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. The Mustangs put the hurt on the Irish with a sharp 3-0 victory on Monday. The win was some much needed relief for the Mustangs as it spelled an end to their four-match losing streak.

Westfall's got stronger as the match went on, holding Fisher Catholic to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-16, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Paint Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Adena.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-16, 25-10.

Paint Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Westfall, their victory bumped their record up to 5-11.

Westfall took their win against Paint Valley when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
