Softball Recap: Palo Alto Takes a Loss

Palo Alto made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Saratoga, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Vikings fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 7-5 on Friday. The Vikings have struggled against the Falcons recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Riannah Soliman was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one double. Kensie Pao was another key player, earning one RBI and two stolen bases.

Palo Alto's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Saratoga, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Palo Alto will take on rival Fremont at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Saratoga is set to face off against their familiar foe Cupertino at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
