Bella MacMahon turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than two earned runs surrendered on Friday. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over six innings pitched. She was dominant the last time she took on Lubbock-Cooper on Thursday, so they probably should've seen this coming.

Even though MacMahon couldn't lead Grapevine over Lubbock-Cooper, she won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Sadly, MacMahon's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Mustangs' eight-game streak of wins on the road. With the streak broken, MacMahon and the Mustangs surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Friday's match.
