Wayne Valley's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jadon Cabrales, who picked up 123 receiving yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 51 yards and one TD. Cabrales showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 61 yards. Wayne Valley also got a significant boost from Elizer Estevez, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 138 yards.

Wayne Valley didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Brayden Rude and Brayden Dunne.

Meanwhile, Ramapo blew past Passaic County Tech, posting a 41-7 victory. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 34 points or more this season.

Ramapo's win came from a few key players Wayne Valley will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Casey Grusser, who threw for 323 yards and four touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes. That's the most passing yards he has posted since back in November of 2024. Liam Hayward helped Grusser out on the ground, rushing for 94 yards and a pair of scores, while also picking up 60 receiving yards.

The win made it two in a row for Ramapo and bumps their season record up to 4-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 points in those games. As for Wayne Valley, their record now sits at 5-1.

We should be in store for an exciting game as Wayne Valley and Ramapo have no problem gaining yardage. The Indians have been on an offensive roll this season, having averaged 355.8 total yards per game. However, it's not like Ramapo struggles in that department as they've been averaging 379.8 total yards. With a pair of commanding offenses duking it out, the defenses are going to have their work cut out for them.

Wayne Valley ended up a good deal behind Ramapo in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, losing 45-29. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Grusser, who threw for 225 yards and three TDs while completing 80% of his passes, and also rushed for 89 yards and one score on only ten carries. Now that the Indians know the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
