Empire lost to Waurika last Friday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Empire Bulldogs blew past the Waurika Eagles, posting a 60-32 victory. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 28 points or more this season.

Empire's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-8. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.3 points per game. As for Waurika, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.
