Meanwhile, Blanchard has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 1.75 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Wednesday. They came up short against Pensacola Catholic, falling 12-2. The game marked the Lions' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Blanchard fell to 7-1. As for W.S. Neal, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4.
