Basketball Recap: Tattnall Square Academy Extends Home Winning Streak to Six

Tattnall Square Academy extended their home winning streak to six games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Antone Johnson. The Tattnall Square Academy Trojans blew past the Piedmont Academy Cougars 79-43 on Tuesday thanks in part to Johnson, who posted 32 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Tattnall Square Academy's points.

Tattnall Square Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. As for Piedmont Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season.

Tattnall Square Academy is taking a road trip to take on John Milledge Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Tattnall Square Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 matchups -- so hopefully John Milledge Academy likes a good challenge. As for Piedmont Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. George's at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (St. George's has four straight wins, Piedmont Academy has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
