Benet Academy is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Illinois' top teams: Rich Township, who was ranked 18th at the time (Benet Academy was ranked sixth). Benet Academy took down Rich Township 73-56 on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Redwings.

Meanwhile, Saint Viator humbled Latin with a 69-26 victory. That 43 point margin sets a new team best for the Lions this season.

Saint Viator has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.9 points per game. As for Benet Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 20-4.
