Soccer Recap: Macomb Comes Up Short

Macomb was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 9-0 to the Alleman Pioneers. While losing is never fun, Macomb can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 438th, while Alleman are ranked 152nd).

Macomb's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Alleman, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Macomb will welcome Geneseo at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Alleman, they will host Moline at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
