LaBelle entered their tilt with Lake Placid on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Lake Placid Dragons 63-26. Given the Cowboys/Cowgirls' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 358th, while the Dragons are ranked 752nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

It was another big night for Giovanni Beaver, who went 6 of 11 en route to 14 points and five steals. Another player making a difference was Damion Santamaria, who posted 11 points and three steals.

When it comes to explaining why Lake Placid lost, don't look at Dj Bullard. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on ten points and 16 rebounds. Bullard is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last seven games he's played. Caleb Andrews was another key player, putting up six points.

LaBelle is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. As for Lake Placid, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.

LaBelle will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Estero at 7:30 p.m. The timing is sure in LaBelle's favor as the squad sits on 11 straight wins at home while Estero has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road. Lake Placid has already played their next game (against Mulberry), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
