Sutton came into Tuesday's matchup looking for another win against Milford, but Gage Dunlap wouldn't allow it. The Milford Eagles narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Sutton Mustangs 35-32 thanks in part to Dunlap, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine boards. Milford is 2-1 when Dunlap posts eight or more rebounds, but 5-10 otherwise.

Another player making a difference was Gus Crabtree, who posted five points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Sutton lost on Tuesday despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Aidan Jones, who had nine points. Keith Kliewer was another key player, putting up six points.

The win made it two in a row for Milford and bumps their season record up to 7-11. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of three points across that stretch. As for Sutton, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-4.

Milford wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 60-59 loss against Fillmore Central on the 6th. As for Sutton, they have also already played their next contest, a 48-31 victory against Fairbury on the 8th.
