Volleyball Recap: Berea-Midpark Titans vs. Olmsted Falls Bulldogs
Berea-Midpark lost against Olmsted Falls back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Titans took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. While the Titans didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bulldogs 25-21 in the first set.
Berea-Midpark started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-12, 25-19, 25-16.
Their offense was headlined by Reaghan Beyer and Aiza Beringuel, who picked up 11 kills apiece. They got some help from Sophia Serrano and her 26 assists. Brooklyn Kovatch controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Delaney Radigan was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 11 digs and one assist. That's the most digs she has posted over her last ten matches.
Berea-Midpark's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Olmsted Falls, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-4.
