After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cassopolis, Marcellus was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They strolled past the Bangor Vikings with points to spare, taking the game 51-32. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 75-49 back in January.

Marcellus pushed their record up to 8-9 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 19.3 points over those games. As for Bangor, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Coming up, Marcellus will face off against Howardsville Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bangor, they will head out to challenge Powers Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
