Baseball Recap: Conemaugh Valley Takes a Loss

Conemaugh Valley lost against Northern Cambria back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Blue Jays came up short against the Colts, falling 13-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Blue Jays have suffered since March 25th.

Conemaugh Valley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jeremy Dietz, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Conemaugh Valley's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Northern Cambria, their victory was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Colts beat Conemaugh Valley by a score of 12-3 later that day.
