Lakeland Christian has gone 7-2 against Frostproof recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Vikings will welcome the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Lakeland Christian will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Lakeland Christian proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by ten) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out McKeel Academy 5-4.

Peyton Rutledge looked comfortable as he pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Mookie Rodriguez was excellent, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Lakeland Christian hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in four consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Frostproof). They never let Tenoroc get on the board and left with an 18-0 win on Wednesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bulldogs as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Bradley Roberts was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ricky Wilson, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Frostproof's win bumped their record up to 9-14. As for Lakeland Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 18-6.

Everything went Lakeland Christian's way against Frostproof in their previous meeting back in May of 2022, as Lakeland Christian made off with a 10-0 win. Do the Vikings have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
