Basketball Recap: Satsuma Gets the Win

Satsuma won the last time they faced St. Luke's Episcopal and things went their way on Thursday too. The Gators walked away with a 49-39 win over the Wildcats. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Gators.

Despite the loss, St. Luke's Episcopal still got an impressive performance from Henry Thompson, who went 6-for-14 to rack up 21 points. That was a full 53.8% of the Wildcats' points, marking the fourth time in a row Thompson has posted more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Luke Knapp, who had six points.

Satsuma now has a winning record of 3-2. As for St. Luke's Episcopal, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Satsuma and Bayshore Christian will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played. As for St. Luke's Episcopal, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Leroy at 7:30 p.m.
