Basketball Recap: St. Thomas More Comes Up Short on the Road Against Madison-Ridgeland Academy

St. Thomas More had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Madison-Ridgeland Academy Patriots by a score of 58-56. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Cougars have suffered since February 14th.

Madison-Ridgeland Academy pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home.

St. Thomas More will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on New Iberia at 7:00 p.m. on December 9. As for Madison-Ridgeland Academy, they will square off against Oxford at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
