Softball Recap: Waco Takes a Loss

Waco fell victim to Lake Belton and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Broncos, falling 10-0. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Broncos recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Waco's loss dropped their record down to 4-10-1. As for Lake Belton, the win (which was their 17th in a row) raised their record to 27-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Waco will face off against University at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lake Belton, they will challenge Chaparral at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Broncos' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bobcats have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season.
