Volleyball Recap: Papillion-LaVista Comes Up Short

Papillion-LaVista suffered their biggest defeat since September 22nd on Wednesday. They came up short against the Millard South Patriots, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on October 11th.

While Papillion-LaVista was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Millard South's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-17, 25-18.

Millard South's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nevaeh Jacobson, who had eight digs.

Papillion-LaVista's loss dropped their record down to 11-18. As for Millard South, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 19 of their last 21 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 32-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Papillion-LaVista nor Millard South have any future games scheduled.
