Basketball Recap: General McLane Find Success

General McLane hadn't done well against Harbor Creek recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The General McLane Lancers managed a 51-47 victory over the Harbor Creek Huskies. This was payback for the Lancers, who suffered a 47-39 loss the last time these two teams met.

Harbor Creek's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of JT Delsandro, who went 6 for 15 on his way to 18 points and six assists, and Tucker Chwatek, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten boards. That was a full 38.3% of Harbor Creek's points, marking the fifth time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam LaFuria, who had five points.

General McLane's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-2. As for Harbor Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

General McLane will take on Erie in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Harbor Creek, they will head out on the road to take on Girard at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
