Baseball Recap: Oak Hill Takes a Loss

Oak Hill extended their losing streak to three on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 4-12 in the process. They came up short against the Mount Abram Roadrunners, falling 12-1. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since May 30, 2022, but that streak is no more.

Oak Hill saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braden Dubuc, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

As for Mount Abram, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-4. The result was nothing new for the Roadrunners, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

On Mount Abram's side, Bryce Wilcox was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. Killian Pillsbury was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

As of now, neither Oak Hill nor Mount Abram have any future games scheduled.
