Soccer Recap: Hurricane Starts off Right with Win over Hillcrest

Hurricane gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Hillcrest Huskies as they made off with a 5-1 victory. With Hurricane ahead 3-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

They hit Hillcrest with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Sienna Goulding (2), Elle Jenson, Addison Bringhurst, and Camila Quintero.

This is the second loss in a row for Hillcrest and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Hurricane wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 5-3 win against Tooele on the 7th. As for Hillcrest, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Pine View on the 7th.
