Softball Recap: Williamston Hornets vs. Eastern Quakers

Williamston can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. They never let the Eastern Quakers onto the board and left with a 15-0 victory. The win was familiar territory for Williamston who now have three in a row.

Thea Fortin made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Fortin has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive pitching appearances. Fortin was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Jaiden Griffith and Katie Bush did most of the damage at the plate: Griffith scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2, while Bush went 2-for-2 with three runs, a triple, and a double.
